Desiderata

This customer got me so heated today. So I am working drive thru by myself when this customer orders 2 bagels and 2 drinks. She is a regular customer yet I don’t know her name or bother to make small talk with her since she is a bitch sometimes, and occassionally demands her drink to be remade or whatnot. Nevertheless, I am always nice ;) so when she comes to the window, I have her bagels in my hand while I say, “Hi $9.60 please!” She doesn’t grab her wallet but instead reaches for the bagels…so I repeat, “Oh your total is $9.60.” She replies, “Excuse me? I always get my bagels first.” I just said, “Well its customary that you pay first.” After she scoffs and shoves her money at me, and I hand her drinks to her (which she checks and opens the lid in front of me, taking her sweet ass time), she says to me, “That was very rude service.” I innocently say, “Just because I asked you to pay first?” She said, “you’re damn right. You know who I am” (like she is some VIP customer). …and then she drives off….

Honestly these types of customers are so stupid. Obviously a transaction involves the customer giving up money in exchange for the goods! Anywho this is my healthy way of venting.

Just saw the musical Chicago at the Pantages Theater in LA with my friend. It was so amazing! The dance numbers were so on point and got me dancing in my seat! :) And I cannot believe Christie Brinkley- she was so amazing!!!! I can’t believe she’s freaking 58 years old! Words cannot express how amazing she fit the role of Roxy Hart. Had so much fun!!! =]
